If the incident occurred within the City of Los Angeles, contact the Department of Animal Services at (323) 225-9453 (225-WILD). 

If the incident occurred in another city within Los Angeles County, contact your local animal control agency or the California Department of Fish & Game. 

Orange County
If the incident occurred within Orange County within the cities of Aliso Viejo, Anaheim, Brea, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach,  Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, La Palma, Orange, Placentia, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park, Yorba Linda, or in unincorporated areas of Orange County, call Orange County Animal Care Services at (714) 935-6848 or (949) 249-5160, or between 5:00pm and 8:00am call (714) 935-7158. 

If you are within the cities of Seal Beach or Los Alamitos, contact Long Beach Animal Control at (562) 570-7387.  If you are within the city of Westminster, call the Westminster Police Department /Animal Control at (714) 898-3315 ext 365.

San Diego County
If you have a situation within San Diego County in which a coyote is causing a threat to human health and safety, call the California Department of Fish & Game at (909) 484-0167.  If you have a threat of an immediate attack on a person, call 911.

If you have a situation within San Diego County where a coyote has caused damage to property, livestock, or resources (for example, attacked poultry, sheep, goats, or other agricultural animals, or has chewed and destroyed agricultural drip irrigation systems), call USDA Wildlife Services at (619) 561-3752.
